Deborah Paine, Inc. employs a team of 13 full-time professionals with expertise in all areas of design and construction craftsmanship - many of whom have worked with the company for over ten years. Several are Licensed Construction Supervisors. We work closely with the finest and most reputable specialty sub-contractors and consultants throughout the region. We utilize the strengths and diverse talents of each member of the team to assure the attention to detail you deserve.

Deborah Paine, President, General Contractor
It might have been growing up on an island off the coast of Maine that seeded the love Deb has for antique homes, distinctive cottages, and wonderful views. It was there she started renovating and remodeling the treasured landmarks of her childhood. She has more than 25 years experience as a residential home builder. Her vast experience with coastal environments, a hands-on eye for detail, progressive knowledge of a changing industry and commitment to exceptional customer service has established the firm as a Cape Cod leader in fine home building. She started swinging a hammer building forts as a child and spent ten years in the field as a carpenter while building the company.

Amy Wolk, Office Manager
Amy oversees the day to day aspects of the company's financial functions. She has been with Deborah Paine, Inc since 1997. Working with the clients, suppliers, and the field manager she coordinates and tracks the permitting, acquisition of materials, and cost accounting for each project. She oversees all facets of company policy and administrative operations. Amy is a long-time resident of Cape Cod.

William Kwaak, Residential Designer
Bill graduated in 1986 from The Art Institute in Philadelphia with an Associated Degree in Specialized Technologies. After graduating, he worked for over 15 years with design-build firms and a commercial property management company. His portfolio includes unique residential interiors, historic renovations, creating custom theme restaurants, and functional commercial spaces. Concrete, glass, exotic woods and plastics became a familiar media.

In 2001 Bill moved to Harwich to work for the Dale Nikula Company, now Encore Construction, where he was hired as a lead carpenter. Once Bill was on board, Encore was able to expand from a straightforward construction company to a design-build firm, with Bill heading their home and kitchen design department. Bill's primary responsibility was to guide clients through the process of creating a design suited to their specific needs. While at Encore, Bill also created several successful ad campaigns for the company among other things. We are very grateful here at DPI to have Bill on board infecting us all with his enthusiasm and creativity.

Bill's other interests include art, music, surfing and spending time with his wife, Kate, and sons Jack, Liam and Calvin.
